About the 8-inch Flex-Tube PV
The 8-inch is the large leaf vacuum size of the Flex-Tube PV — the hose on tow-behind and commercial lawn debris units — stocked in short machine lengths plus a 25 ft run. The 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 ft pieces are for machine replacements; 25 ft covers a longer collection or discharge run. It is a medium-weight clear PVC hose with a rigid external helix as a wearstrip, an ultra-smooth interior for airflow, and the flexibility to follow the machine without crushing.

- Air handling and fume ventilation with light, dry material at 20°F to 160°F
For heavier or abrasive material — grain, wood chips, bark — or for cold-weather flexibility below 20°F, the polyurethane Flex-Tube PU is the better fit (rated to -40°F). The PV is the economical choice for lighter, dry material at moderate temperatures.
