About the 6-inch Flex-Tube PV
The 6-inch is the Flex-Tube PV most people are replacing on a leaf vacuum, and the size we stock in the most lengths. Six inches is the hose diameter on many walk-behind and tow-behind leaf vacuums, so it comes in eight lengths — from a 5 ft replacement piece up to a 100 ft run. It is a medium-weight clear PVC hose with a rigid external helix that takes the wear, an ultra-smooth interior for airflow, and enough flexibility to follow the machine without kinking or crushing.
Stocked in 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 25, and 100 ft lengths. Each price is for one hose of that length.

For heavier or abrasive material — grain, wood chips, bark — or for cold-weather flexibility below 20°F, the polyurethane Flex-Tube PU is the better fit (rated to -40°F). The PV is the economical choice for lighter, dry material at moderate temperatures.
