About the 2.5-inch Flex-Tube PV
The 2.5-inch is the one-roll size of the Flex-Tube PV line — stocked as a single 100 ft roll for a long vacuum, air handling, or fume ventilation run where 2-inch is too restrictive and 3-inch is more than the port needs. Clear co-extruded PVC wall, rigid external helix as a wearstrip, ultra-smooth interior, and a .030-inch wall — a step up from the 2-inch size.
Stocked as a 100 ft length. Each price is for one hose of that length.
Where you'll see the 2.5-inch PV
- Industrial and shop vacuum cleaning lines
- Air handling and fume ventilation runs
- Light, dry material — dust, dry particulate — at 20°F to 160°F
For heavier or abrasive material — grain, wood chips, bark — or for cold-weather flexibility below 20°F, the polyurethane Flex-Tube PU is the better fit (rated to -40°F). The PV is the economical choice for lighter, dry material at moderate temperatures.
