About the 5-inch Flex-Tube PV
The 5-inch is the in-between size of the Flex-Tube PV line — a step up from the 4-inch port size, a step below the leaf vacuum sizes. It is the diameter to reach for when a dust collection main, an industrial vacuum line, or an air handling run needs more airflow than a 4-inch hose allows. Same construction as the rest of the line: clear co-extruded PVC wall so you can see what is moving, a rigid external helix that doubles as a wearstrip, and an ultra-smooth interior.
Stocked in 10, 12, 25, 50, and 100 ft lengths. Each price is for one hose of that length.
Where you'll see the 5-inch PV
- Dust collection mains and branch runs in woodworking and furniture shops
- Industrial vacuum cleaning lines, air handling, fume ventilation
- Light, dry material at 20°F to 160°F
For heavier or abrasive material — grain, wood chips, bark — or for cold-weather flexibility below 20°F, the polyurethane Flex-Tube PU is the better fit (rated to -40°F). The PV is the economical choice for lighter, dry material at moderate temperatures.
