The Flex-Tube PU is a medium-weight polyurethane hose designed for applications where abrasion resistance and durability matter most. The ether-based urethane construction handles everything from fine sawdust to heavier materials like wood chips, grain, and bark mulch — all while maintaining excellent flexibility, even in cold weather down to -40°F. Available in diameters from 1.25 inches to 12 inches with multiple length options. Many sizes available.
The clear urethane wall gives you visibility of material flow across all applications — dust collection, leaf and lawn debris removal, industrial vacuum systems, food-grade granular transport, and more. The rigid ABS helix acts as a wearstrip, extending hose life even under heavy use.
For leaf vacuum and lawn debris collection, the Flex-Tube PU is a direct fit for systems from Cyclone Rake, Billy Goat, DR Power, and Agri-Fab. For workshop dust collection, it fits standard 4-inch ports and is available up to 12 inches for commercial and industrial vacuum systems.

Compared to PVC hoses like the Flex-Tube PV, the Flex-Tube PU offers significantly better abrasion resistance, higher tensile strength, and a wider operating temperature range (-40°F to 200°F vs. 20°F to 160°F for PVC). If you’re moving abrasive materials, running equipment in cold conditions, or need a hose that lasts longer under heavy use, polyurethane is the upgrade. The Flex-Tube PU is also FDA-acceptable for food-grade granular transport applications.
