Granular food transport puts different demands on a hose than powder transfer. Grains, seeds, and pellets are heavier and more abrasive, so wall thickness and material hardness matter. The Flx-Thane HD and Flx-Thane VHD provide the heavy-wall polyurethane construction needed for long runs and high-throughput grain handling systems.

For facilities processing combustible grains — wheat, corn, rice, and similar materials — static charge buildup during pneumatic conveying is a recognized risk. The FlexStat provides permanent static dissipation designed to address NFPA 652 and 654 requirements. The FlexStat CR adds clean room suitability for pharmaceutical and specialty food environments where contamination control is critical.
