Medium Weight Static Dissipative Polyurethane Hose for Material Handling and Dust Collection
The Flx-Thane SDX-30 is a medium weight, static dissipative clear polyurethane hose reinforced with a bronze-coated spring steel wire helix. Its .030" wall delivers great abrasion resistance and high tear strength, so it can move material, not just air. The clear wall gives you full visibility of material flow — spot blockages before they become a problem. Available in 2" to 12" ID in 25 ft and 50 ft lengths.
The static dissipative wall helps bleed off static charge as material moves through the hose, and the self-extinguishing construction is listed as UL 94V-2 flame retardant. It is halogen-free and manufactured with FDA acceptable materials, and the operating temperature range of -65°F to 200°F covers cold startups and warm process air. Where the SDX-30 Fits
This hose is built for material handling and dust collection where static buildup is a concern — CNC router extraction, granule transport, powder and bulk transfer, plastics processing, shredders, sand blasting dust collection, silica dust, welding fume extraction, paint spray extraction, glass processing, shipyards, clean rooms, ultra violet dryers, woodworking, and food grade applications. For severe service, the Flx-Thane HD or Flx-Thane VHD Clear are better suited to that work.
