Heavy-Weight FDA-Compliant PVC Hose for Ventilation and Material Handling
The Flexadux PV R-3 is our heaviest-weight PVC hose in the R-series, reinforced with a coated spring steel wire helix and built with a .035"–.045" wall for demanding ventilation, dust removal, and material handling applications. Manufactured with FDA-acceptable materials. Excellent internal and external abrasion resistance, good chemical and moisture resistance. Available in 2.5"–6" standard IDs up to 12" maximum in 25' or 50' lengths.
Where the R-3 Clear Fits
This hose is built for operations that push lighter PVC hoses past their limit. Common uses include dust and fume removal on heavier material streams, FDA-compliant food-grade material handling, meat packing, manufacturing and metal processing ventilation, construction site material handling, aluminum refractory air movement, and shipyard or foundry air handling where wall thickness and abrasion resistance matter.
Compared to the Rest of the R-Series
The R-3 is the heaviest PVC hose we offer. If you need a medium-weight option for positive-pressure dust and material collection, the PV R-4 Clear is a step down. For a lightweight flexible alternative with tighter bend characteristics, the PV R-2 Clear drops to a .020" wall. The PV R-3 Blue is the UL 94V-0 flame-retardant variant of this same hose.
The Flexadux PV R-3 is a heavy weight PVC hose that has been reinforced with a coated spring steel wire helix. Clear for easy content viewing. It is available with an ID of 2.5", 3", 4", 5", 6", and lengths of 25' or 50' in order to provide you with a custom fit for your application.
