Light-Weight Polyurethane Hose with Superior Compressibility
The Flx-Thane LD Clear is a light-weight clear polyurethane hose reinforced with a bronze-coated spring steel wire helix. With a .015" wall at 2" ID (.020" at 2.5" and above), it is one of the thinnest polyurethane hoses in our lineup — delivering the compressibility and flexibility needed for tight-space installations and applications with wide temperature ranges. Strong abrasion and chemical resistance for its weight class. Also available in black.
Where the Flx-Thane LD Clear Fits
This hose covers a wide range: wood dust collection, construction debris, insulation blowing and removal, hull sanding, paint spray extraction, printing fume extraction, textile fiber collection, sheet metal work, oil mist extraction, ultra violet dryer exhaust, aluminum refractory, and general air handling and fume ventilation. The light wall and high compressibility make it the right pick when the hose needs to compress for storage or fit through tight access points.

The LD is the light-weight option. For heavier-wall durability, step up to the Flx-Thane MD Clear (medium duty) or the Flx-Thane HD (heavy duty). The Flx-Thane LD Clear Hose is a lightweight polyurethane hose that has been reinforced with a bronze coated spring steel wire helix, making it great for air, fume, and dust use. Clear for easy content viewing. It is available with an ID range of 4" to 8", and a length of 25' in order to provide you with a custom fit for your application.
