Insulation removal is rougher on hoses than blowing — old insulation often contains staples, nails, and debris that can puncture or tear standard ducting. The Flx-Thane SDX-20 provides abrasion-resistant polyurethane construction while staying lightweight enough for one-person handling in attic spaces.

The SDX-20 has the flexibility needed to route through tight attic hatches, around joists, and down wall cavities to the vacuum truck or collection bag outside.
