Very Heavy Weight Static Dissipative Hose for Railcar Loading and Unloading
The FlexStat 80 is a very heavy weight clear static dissipative thermoplastic polyurethane hose reinforced with a rigid black external ABS helix and an embedded copper braided grounding wire. At .080" wall thickness, it is the thickest hose in the FlexStat family — built to handle the high vacuum and extreme abrasion of railcar loading and unloading operations. Permanent, non-humidity dependent ESD protection (surface resistivity 108–1010 Ohms/Square). Manufactured with FDA acceptable materials.
Where the FlexStat 80 Fits
This hose is purpose-built for railcar loading and unloading, heavy-duty bulk material transfer, and severe-service material handling where high vacuum capability and extreme abrasion resistance are both required. The .080" wall and smooth interior minimize friction loss and prevent material buildup even under the heaviest service loads.
Sizing & Install Best Practices
Match inside diameter to your railcar unloading nozzle or material transfer port. The .080" wall makes this hose heavier and less flexible than lighter FlexStat options — support the hose along the run and avoid tight bends that could stress the ABS helix. For lighter-duty static dissipative applications, the standard FlexStat Hose or FlexStat CR offer the same ESD protection at lower wall thicknesses.
