Wearstrip-Protected Thermoplastic Rubber Hose for Drag-Along and Floor Applications
The Flexadux TR T-7W is a medium-weight thermoplastic rubber (TPR) hose built for applications where the hose gets dragged across floors, concrete, or rough surfaces. The yellow polypropylene wearstrip bonded to the exterior protects against abrasion in drag-along use — extending hose life in environments where standard smooth-wall hoses wear through prematurely. Inside, the spring steel wire helix maintains shape under vacuum while the smooth bore keeps airflow efficient.
The T-7W shares the same black TPR construction as the standard Flexadux TR T-7, with the wearstrip as the key difference. If your hose stays in a fixed installation and doesn’t contact abrasive surfaces, the T-7 gives you the same performance without the wearstrip. Many sizes available.
Where the Wearstrip Matters
The wearstrip construction shines in vacuum cleaning operations, construction jobsites, duct cleaning service calls, and paper trim conduit systems where hoses are regularly repositioned across hard surfaces. In dust collection and manufacturing environments, it handles wood dust, metal shavings, paper trim, and general debris. The TPR material resists oils, chemicals, and UV, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
For heavier-duty material transfer, the T-7W also serves in car wash systems, conduit routing, and off-road debris removal where both flexibility and surface protection are priorities.
