Flex-Tube PU
The default pick for farms moving grain, feed, seed, or general material through tractor-mounted vacuum systems and on-farm transfer setups. Polyurethane construction handles most agricultural use cases without overpaying for severe-duty hose. The all-purpose hose for working farms.
Best for:
Why this hose:
Sizes 0.75"–12" ID. Wall thickness scales with diameter (.020"–.040"). Many sizes available.
Equipment compatibility: Designed to fit most farm vacuum and material transfer systems. Verify your equipment's intake diameter before ordering.
Dayflex MG-U
Air seeder lines flex constantly — around tight planter frames, through abrasive seed flow all season, and into cold spring mornings. Dayflex MG-U is Flexaust's dedicated seeder hose, designed for that specific job. Lightweight elastomer polyurethane stays flexible across the temperature range, and a vinyl-coated spring steel wire helix reinforces the wall to hold shape under daily field use.
Best for:
Why this hose:
Sizes 0.75"–2" ID. Standard 50 ft length. Many sizes available.
Equipment compatibility: Compatible with John Deere, Case IH, Kinze, Great Plains, and other commercial air seeder systems with 0.75"–2" ID distribution lines. Verify your planter's specified hose ID before ordering.
Flex-Tube PU
For seeder systems with distribution lines from 1.75" ID up through 12" — larger commercial planters, broadcast seeders, and ag operations where the same hose serves seeding plus material handling — Flex-Tube PU is the workhorse pick. Same proven polyurethane construction as our Multi-Purpose Farm Hose, available across a much wider size range than dedicated seeder hose.
Best for:
Why this hose:
Sizes 1.75"–12" ID. Wall thickness scales with diameter (.030"–.040"). Many sizes available.
Equipment compatibility: Compatible with larger commercial air seeders, broadcast applicators, and other ag systems requiring 1.75"+ ID distribution lines. Verify your equipment's specified hose ID before ordering.

Flex-Tube PU 60 HF
Grain vac duty cycles are brutal — high vacuum, abrasive grain, and tight bend radii at the inlet and discharge. Heavy-weight polyurethane built specifically for this kind of severe-service grain handling. Twice the wall thickness of standard PU without sacrificing flexibility.
Best for:
Why this hose:
Sizes 2"–8" ID (larger by special order). Wall thickness .055"–.060". Many sizes available.
Equipment compatibility: Compatible with Walinga, Brandt, REM, Handlair, and other commercial grain vac systems. Verify your system's specified hose ID before ordering.
Another option: Flex-Tube PU 60 GV-GW — same .060" wall, same flexibility, with an embedded copper grounding wire and static-dissipative chemistry. Choose this if your facility requires static control or you're handling grain at risk of dust ignition. For facilities under full NFPA 652/654 oversight, see the Combustible Dust card below.
Flex-Tube PU 60 GV-GW
Combustible-dust environments require hoses that actively dissipate electrostatic charge — not hoses that happen to be conductive in humid weather. Flex-Tube PU 60 GV-GW pairs a very heavy .060" wall with an embedded copper grounding wire for permanent static dissipation. Built specifically for grain vac applications where dust ignition is a real concern, at a price point that's far more practical for working facilities than industrial-grade ESD hose.
Best for:
Why this hose:
Sizes 2"–8" ID. Wall thickness .060". Many sizes available.
Equipment compatibility: Built for grain vac systems, hopper loading equipment, and material handling in facilities subject to combustible dust oversight. Verify intake diameter, and confirm bonding/grounding requirements with your facility safety officer before installation.

Flex-Tube PU
Feed transfer in livestock operations means food-contact-safe construction, abrasion resistance for high-volume daily use, and a smooth interior that doesn't trap moisture or grow biofilm. Same hose as our multi-purpose and seeder picks — polyurethane handles feed transfer cleanly across cattle, dairy, hog, and poultry operations.
Best for:
Why this hose:
Sizes 0.75"–12" ID. Many sizes available.
Equipment compatibility: Compatible with most farm feed transfer systems and bulk handling equipment. Verify your equipment's intake diameter before ordering.
Flex-Tube PU
Dairy parlor washdown, stable cleanup, and barn rinsing are demanding wet pick-up applications — high volumes of water, manure slurry, sanitation rinse, and bedding all moving through the hose daily. Polyurethane handles the abrasion of wet material and the daily duty cycle better than PVC, and it stays flexible in cold barns. This is the hose we've recommended for stable and pasture vac work for years.
Best for:
Why this hose:
Sizes 1.75"–12" ID. Wall thickness scales with diameter (.020"–.040"). Many sizes available.
Equipment compatibility: Compatible with Lely, DeLaval, BouMatic, and other commercial dairy and livestock washdown systems. Verify your equipment's intake diameter before ordering.

Flx-Thane HD
Straw blowing is high-abrasion, high-impact work — straw is essentially sandblasting the inside of the hose every minute it runs. Flx-Thane HD is built for this kind of severe-service installation. Heavy-weight polyurethane reinforced with a bronze-coated spring steel wire helix that holds shape under sustained abrasion and tight bend radii.
Best for:
Why this hose:
Sizes 2"–18" ID (larger by special order). Wall thickness .035"–.045". Many sizes available.
Equipment compatibility: Designed for straw blower trucks, hydroseeding units, and erosion control equipment. Verify your equipment's outlet diameter before ordering.

| Flx-Thane HD | Straw Blowing & Hydroseeding | Heavy polyurethane | 2"–18" | Bronze-coated spring steel helix | $394.54 |
For buyers who want to understand the spec differences, here are the four factors that actually matter.
Thicker walls handle heavier ag material — abrasive grain, feed, and severe-service vacuum work. Thinner walls flex easier and cost less, but they'll wear faster under sustained ag use. For grain vac, look for .055" or thicker. For everyday material handling, .020"–.040" is the standard range.
Polyurethane is the right call for almost every ag application — abrasion-resistant, cold-weather flexible, and longer-lasting than PVC under severe-service conditions. For combustible-dust environments (NFPA 652/654), you need a static-dissipative polyurethane with an embedded copper grounding wire.
Helix construction matters under field conditions. ABS plastic helix is standard for general-purpose ag hose. Wire helix — vinyl-coated for dedicated seeder hose, bronze-coated for severe-service straw blowing — reinforces against tight bends and sustained abrasion.
Match the diameter to your equipment's specified intake or outlet. For grain vac systems (Walinga, Brandt, REM, Handlair), the manufacturer specifies the connection size. For air seeders, the planter manual lists the distribution line ID — most commercial systems run 1"–2". Length depends on equipment reach and how much hose you want to keep coiled. Many sizes available.
