Ultra-Compressible Lightweight Thermoplastic Rubber Hose
The Flexadux TR XLT is the most compressible hose in our thermoplastic rubber line, designed for tight-space installations and low-pressure air handling. The spring steel wire helix holds shape while the lightweight TPR wall collapses down for shipping, storage, and tight routing through cabinets, duct chases, and equipment enclosures. It handles a wide operating temperature range, resists moisture and UV, and has excellent chemical resistance for general industrial use.
Where the TR XLT Fits
This hose shines in light-duty air movement where weight and flexibility matter more than heavy-wall durability. Common uses include A/C and portable cooling duct runs, electronics and server enclosure cooling, fume extraction at benches and soldering stations, heater and defroster routing in cabs and equipment, and HVAC applications where the hose needs to snake through tight spaces. The TPR construction also makes it a good fit for paper, textile, and manufacturing process air where light weight is a plus.
Compared to the Rest of Our Line
The TR XLT trades durability for compressibility and weight savings. If you need a heavier-duty general-purpose TR hose, the Flexadux TR T-7 is our workhorse multi-purpose TR hose. For drag-along applications where the hose gets pulled across surfaces, the T-7W adds a wearstrip for abrasion protection.
