Foundry sand transfer hoses for moving casting sand, core sand, and reclaimed foundry media through pneumatic conveying systems. The Flx-Thane HD provides heavy-wall polyurethane for maximum abrasion resistance against the highly abrasive sand stream. The Flexadux CWY and TR HT add heat tolerance for applications near molten metal operations where ambient temperatures are elevated. Foundry sand is extremely abrasive and often hot — reclaimed sand from shakeout operations can carry significant residual heat that degrades standard PVC hoses. The Flx-Thane HD provides heavy-wall polyurethane construction built for the abrasion, while the Flexadux TR HT and CWY add heat tolerance for runs near molten metal operations and hot sand reclaim systems.

For lighter sand handling or cooler media transfer, the Flx-Thane MD provides a good balance of abrasion resistance and flexibility at a lower weight. Clear hose options let you monitor sand flow and spot buildup in the transfer line before blockages develop.
