Neoprene-Coated Fiberglass Hose for Fixed High-Temperature Installations
The Heat-Flex GN is a fiberglass hose with a neoprene coating, carrying a UL 94V-0 flame retardant rating. It is built for high-temperature air handling in fixed installations — once routed, the hose stays put rather than flexing through a duty cycle. The neoprene coating adds flame retardancy and surface protection on top of the fiberglass core's high-temperature capability, making it a common fit in automotive, plastic processing, and ventilation applications where flame retardancy is required.
Where the Heat-Flex GN Fits
This hose is used in A/C and portable cooling runs, automotive exhaust and ventilation, brake ducting for cooling and ventilation, cold air supply routing, fume ventilation, heater and defroster lines, injection molding and plastic processing air handling, limo A/C ducting, smoke ejector operations, transmission cooling, vehicle exhaust systems, and general hot/cold air transfer where UL 94V-0 flame retardancy matters.
Important: Not for Constant Flexing
The GN is built for static installations. If the hose will see constant flexing or movement during use, the Heat-Flex NS is the Nomex-reinforced version built for that duty. For broader general-service high-temperature work, the Heat-Flex GS covers more applications.
